Ichi Builds an Explorer ‘ish… 😜
Ok guys! You can say I caught the modding bug sooo.. I figure I wanted to try a 36mm so why not build one! I wanted to see the fuss about the explorer and never really saw a white dial one and saw this mod and figure try it out!! I kinda combined the orange hand from the explorer 2 … I hate to say that I’m loving this ❤🥳🥰… this 36 mm is pretty good … so whatcha think?!

It’s namoki, got parts from them… I might have to venture to Aliexpress next for no branding and widen the options and selections of designs…
Wow just looked at their prices they’re a bit steep, you can source all the bits at AliExpress for a lot less and the quality is v good.

So as someone who isn’t the most mechanically inclined but very interested in modding, any challenges you ran into? Was it difficult?

The second hands are the biggest challenge but in time and practice you get the hang of it. Also, sourcing out the right parts that fits together can be a headache…I would def. Recommend try out like Rotatewatches.com for their easy build is a good practice. Watching watch builds in YouTube helps a lot too.. good luck and it’s a littlle difficult at first but afterwards it gets fun!! 🍻
