For those who don’t know, Lorus is a subsidiary brand of Seiko, making even more affordable watches.
I have had this Lorus VD53-X080 for about 3 years and I must say I am very impressed with it. The build quality is commendable for the price range, and it has a great sporty element with the black and red.
So, what do you all think of Lorus?

I’ve had their lume dial field watch in the past and it was excellent.
I have the Lorus full lume field watch. Great little watch.
Decent watches for not a lot of money, and there's nothing wrong with that👍
I have a PC32-X190 which is a sub £20 field style watch.
Its green, wallet friendly and easy to read.
I may well buy another Lorus to go with it .
I like them in appearance and specs to price but the name rubs me the wrong way. Idk why and I have no logical explanation.
I like it, I like it alo!
Awesome value for money, which elevates the brand in my view...like Casio I guess?
With one or two notable exceptions, like the RXF41AX7:
#horus peaked a while ago (IMHO). I have been searching far and wide for a YM92-X156 #chronograph for what feels like a decade!
(or the X155 in the #black colourway). To me this was the p innacle of Lorns watches, beating out both #alba and #pulsar in terms of fit and finish, but remaining #seiko's budget sub-brand. Now Lorus is just plastic kid's watches (IMHO - no disrespect to any true Lorus fanboys or girls - keep the faith, maybe Seiko will breath come life into the brand yet!?)
Cracking build quality for the money. I bought this exact model just over a year ago, and if the lug to lug was shorter it would have been a keeper. I gave it to my dad and he's not managed to kill it so that's a ringing endorsement for Lorus
