Screw down pushers… love or hate

What do you think about screw down pushers? Myself im fine with them. Think they add a distinct look to the watch. And let’s face it I think very few people actually use the complication on a regular basis.

Let's be honest, they're not great if you want to time how long you can hold your breath under water!

·

They seem unnecessary since you can watches like the tudor alinghi chrono that allows you to use the pushers underwater without the need of screwdown.

This is literally stuff I don't care about squared.

Never needed them, never will.

IMO, these are solutions looking for a problem to solve.

I like the look but they're not great if you actually want to use the chrono

They make the watch look too...busy? "fat"? cumbersome?

·

I don’t understand the decision to make a key function of a product more difficult to access.

They're on a watch I rather fancy. Not enough to dream about it, but I might get it some day. If the pushers are quick and easy to thread, I'm fine with them. Peace of mind for swimming. Other than that, I don't care.

Stupid idea if you want to use a chrono. Makes the complication useless if they are screwed down. It’s just for show

If they are unscrewed then the water resistance is compromised so why have them

Sinn make a chrono you can operate at 500m. Now that’s a chrono done right

I like it.

It's too easy to accidentally set off or stop a chronograph when digging in a pocket or doing physical labor.

The ability to lock them up is handy in a "tool watch" kind of setting.

Just so you don't push by mistake under water, so they have a use.
