FINALLY! Sinn is releasing a quick adjust buckle!

We've been asking for a better bracelet buckle for years. Sinn listened.

Three major improvements:

  1. Thicker steel walls for improved stability and rigidity

  2. New opening mechanism activated by simultaneously pressing two side buttons

  3. New sliding quick adjust mechanism that allows for tool free size adjustments

The quick adjust has six locking positions at 2.05 mm intervals, providing a total quick adjustment range of 10.25 mm

Where did you see this at? I can't find anything about it. Can you provide a link?

So now sinn make the perfect watch 😊and to be honest I didn’t mind the old one but better is better

·

They are only selling the whole bracelet for now, and not for the 105. Still looks like a huge improvement!

·

Time to re-buy that Sinn 556 and get rid of everything else in the collection…

·

I was wondering when they would.

Wonder if/when they will do a full regimented option?

Or maybe too many complications?

·

I saw this in the e-mail yesterday and was excited to order one! Then I read this:

Mine’s not on there.

Is it time for me to finally buy a Sinn?

Oh wait, not for the 105 or 556...damnit Sinn.

I liked the new watches. But micro adjust is an absolute game changer for them!

·

Why every brand doesn’t have micro adjust in 2024 is beyond me.

Sigh "Market segmentation" or maybe butterfly clasps although Omega, VC, and Formex all have a comfort adjustment system on some of their butterfly clasps that allow ~2.5mm of extra length on the fly.

If it's a more normal clasp, it should have on the fly micro adjust standard once the price crosses about $1000 these days.

·

The price for that bracelet is insane. $510?! It's not like some proprietary clasp was developed. Surprised that U50 wasn't on the initial roll out list.

·

I would love to hear from someone that gets it to see if it latches better. I don't need the micro adjust per se but the poor latching may be worth $510 to replace the bracelet

Gotta make up for the R&D costs for this innovative, industry changing technology. 🤣

I specifically ordered my 556 on a strap because I had no interest in the bracelet. This may change my mind. I’m excited to eventually see them introduce it to other lines

·

Might want to nudge Grand Seiko next 😉

·

Much too expensive and a pity they won’t sell it separately as a retro fit onto their current bracelet.

I've got the H-link bracelet for the 556, but I almost never wear it, because of the crappy clasp. Sadly, the new bracelet is not available at all for 556 at this point.

·

I think it super weird that the new bracelet is not available for many of the their best-known watches:

  • 105

  • 556

  • 856

  • U50

  • T50

But now I'll start pondering again if I want to buy an 104. 😀
