My most expensive watch and my only piece over $1000 is my Sinn 556i which I got as a college graduation present.
Whenever I see posts about someone freaking out over the tiniest scratch I like messing with them and telling them it’s ruined and they should throw it in the trash. I never want to own a watch that would make me nervous to wear.
The most expensive watch I want to own for now is a Tudor BB54 as it checks off every box for me and I want to experience a watch like that.
Later down the line I may look for a birth year Rolex for my 40th but I’ve got awhile for that.
I can’t say that I’ve owned it, but after trying on a Cartier tank in person I can say I never want one.
I still think they’re beautiful, but for some reason it doesn’t feel right for me. Maybe I feel like a poser or something.
