Blue still a thing?

I'm recently looking for a more dressier watch. Something casual but with a touch of chic dressy. I've seen the tissot Gentleman quartz that has a very beautiful blue dial. I think one of the most beautiful blue dial is the one from the Omega Aqua terra. It's sporty yet very classy and could be worn in a more classy way.

You think blue dial is still a thing?

Is it beautiful to you for a more dressy watch?

Not that I base my watch dials choices on trends but I'm curious to know if you think that blue dials are dressy or classic enough to widstand the test of time and longevity.

Do you feel black or maybe white dials are more proper in a long term investment?

I only have the orient mako 2 in blue but it's so full of dings and dangs now that I could not wear this much now in a more dressy situation. I'm looking for a more gada one with no bezel. I did not find much dark blue dials.

Maybe it was a trend then but now less brands are making blue dials?

Show us the dark blue dials in your collection and cover us with some blueberry vibes!

Blue is one of the most popular dial colours, and has been for decades. It's a staple like black and white, so there will be no shortage of options to choose from today or in 30 years.

I have two, but I'm not into them so much these days.

If you're looking for a non-diver option I highly recommend Christopher Ward. The C63 Sealander and C65 Dune as options, though they are getting a bit pricey.

C63 Sealander Automatic | Christopher Ward

C65 Dune Automatic | Christopher Ward

I have the white version of the C63, and the black version of the C65

Citizen Calendrier,

But I think the HOT 🔥 new colour is going to be Purples, all tones, all shades. So if you want ahead of the curve....

Wow!

Blue with no bezel. This is versatile and can be used in many situations. It’s a little on the large side at 41.5mm without a bezel, so you get a lot dial.

Looks very class! It's a little to big for me but looks very good! 💙

Yeah! Would have been a perfect size at 39/40mm.

This is my Aragon Divemaster II. I love this dial.

And I built a couple Yacht-Master Mods with Blue Seigaiha Wave dials by Watch Modz. I sold them off pretty quickly.

When did blue dials not become a thing?

·
Fredwatch50

I think its the first time I see this watch! Thank you! Looks very good! 👌

Aragon's an interesting company. Most watches are a little too big for me and some aren't my style, but their design range is impressive.

Blue is my favourite dial colour and there’s a few of them out there. Here are my ones.

When did blue dials not become a thing?

That's the question I had because I didn't see much dark blue dials option in the lower end priced watches. But perhaps your perception is different and that's perfectly valid.

Gruen? Is this a German brand? It looks nice!

Blue dial 90’s Omega Seamaster- 007’s dressier cousin.

Thanks!

It's an "Embassy by Gruen," so an Embassy brand watch made by Gruen for street cred I guess. 😜

It's super readable even in low light and comfortable to wear too. 👍

I think that the Quartz version looks very good indeed! May you show us those beautiful ones on your wrist? If you are comfortable of course! Thanks!

I have this exact same watch and it's bluer than blue. And Seiko movement. And built like a tank. And how about that $139 price?

Always were, are now, and will ever be.

I got this one for even less. Aragon was running a contest for the Superbowl. I guessed the winning team and got $10 off.
