What watch would get more wrist time?

Tough choice to be made this weekend. Tudor Black Bay 54 or Rolex Submariner 14060M. Which one should I put on my wrist? 🤔 Taking the last few weeks as a reference, I have to admit that the Black Bay 54 got much more wrist time. The reason might be that I got it relatively new and I still love to discover all the details of the watch (rose gold tones, matt dial…). But maybe it will claim its status as my daily watch for quite a long time. We will see! Ask curious how it will wear in the rubber strap which I got as well. Feeling a little bad, because the Sub and especially the 14060M has a rich history and is by far the most beautiful Sub reference (apart from the 5513). Feeling guilty…

Both great watches 🔥wear the one which feels the most comfortable 👍

How does the wearing experience compare?

and comfortable also means if you feel safe when going out on the street with your Rolex, for example I don't feel comfortable taking my Rolex out on the street because you unfortunately become a target for thieves, I prefer to go out with one of my Seiko or my G Shock

Both are nice! I just got a BB54 and love it!

·

Definitely the Submariner but on a rubber strap 👍

Love 54 and 58 but the black and white on the Sub wins over the gilt on the Tudors for me

Tudor 💯

Yea I’d say if you’re going to keep one then put the Sub on a rubber strap which looks awesome and makes it more casual - increasing wearing opps.

·

I’d wear the BB54 daily and use the Sub more sparingly. Just because I feel it is a lot more special and will feel more special when you out it on every once in a while.

I will 🙂 Thanks mate! At the moment the BB54 seems to be the slightly more comfortable and versatile watch... on a daily basis.

The BB54 wears a little more comfy. At least on my wrist. Whilst others might not like the less robust and more shaky bracelet of the 14060 (from about 2004), I have no issue with the bracelet quality itself. I would not say that it is the bracelets itself that makes the BB54 more comfortable and versatile, but the pure size (37mm) and shape of the case (also lug to lug) makes the difference for me. And of course the micro adjustment is a plus.... but the new Sub reference do come with this feature as well. The BB54 wears more modern and sleek. Which I quite like on a daily basis. It is less present on the wrist from a design standpoint, its measurements and also the less known brand, of course.

Great! Congrats to you my friend! You wear it on the bracelet or rubber strap?

Which rubber strap/brand can you recommend for the Sub?

That is exactly how I feel and how I do it at the moment! Sub became a watch for more special or sporty occasions and outfits :)

I really like the Juntan silicone straps. Ligh, super comfortable and cheaper than other options.
