That Omega Speedmaster comment 😂
Omega tried to gain fans by making a smaller version called the Speedmaster Reduced, only to be bashed by loyalist that its a wannabe moonwatch and makes people think twice buying it.
I kind of agree with the bracelet. It was only when I moved to leather where it felt most comfortable. I spent a lot even buying Uncle Seiko half links. It all felt good until I started wearing my datejust more and just felt the BB58 felt a tad to big (at least on my perception).
Having said that it really depends on your wrist. People with bigger wrist will be able to wear it easier I guess.
Also knowing Tudor they may simply sell a full bracelet with the Tfit clasp rather than just the clasp itself.
Dear OP. Having read your comment is refreshing knowing there was a real guy with real emotions behind it. This whole week I've been receiving emails with plenty of AI rant (no doubt employees trying to make themselves sound professional to the point that 80% of their email was almost ROBOTIC).
The BB54 is on my wishlist too along with a Carl F Bucherer Manero Autodate 38mm. I've recently sold off my BB58 in December but felt it was too soon to get it replaced. I have to admit when it came out I obsessed over it but couldn't buy it because I had the BB58. Now that I have sold it, I'm pretty much more calm knowing nothing is in the way of me buying it, except maybe the cash 😉
The accuracy can't be that bad could it? I mean build standards it is still probably far better then a Seiko. I'd prefer the index markers. 34mm is quite small even for the average small wrist. I'd look for something 36mm at least. Happy hunting!
I used to say the same thing when my wife was into handbags a while back. "It doesnt matter how many handbags you get. You still have only a couple of dollars inside it and a bunch of the same makeup"
That's a good topic to bring up in January of a new year. It's up there with another question that I have which was, if I were to buy another watch, what does it bring that the others in my collection hasn't?
We don't really have 'disposable' income. We do slightly struggle financially, mentally and emotionally to own one.
I shall ponder these questions as I begin the search for my 2024 timepieces, a Carl F Bucherer and a Tudor. 😀
Mont Blanc is one of those companies who is looking to venture out of their comfort zone with pens. A lot of their watches are incredible to be honest. But yes it's true many people associate their brand with pens. You need to own one of their watches to know that they were made quite well.
Your Mont Blanc watch is quite nice and pretty much does the job!
