My dream IWC
Ever since I was in my teens, I had a fascination with mechanical watches. I remembered buying my first mechanical watch, a Seiko 5 pilot watch. From then on, I grew to love field/pilot style watches. I always knew I wanted a IWC some day. To me it's the pinnacle of a pilot watch. Just like the Rolex Explorer is to field watches. Fast forward 20 years later and I finally got myself an IWC. Is it overpriced? Probably. One could argue with the price, you can get other brands or better complications, but to me, I finally got my dream watch. Now time to work towards the Rolex Explorer.

Boils down to size. The Mark XX is 40mm but Spitfire is 39mm. Lug to lug is shorter on the Mark XX though but I personally prefer to have smaller case diameter than shorter lug to lug.
