This colorway totally changes the watch. And I always love a gold Casio screen!

Since the backlight is stock color, I guess this isn't a tint job. Is LCD background color merely whatever color some physical background is made? Don't make me look this up myself.

Yeah it's a different color LCD film that lines the back of the glass. A lot of Casio's gold digitals have the gold tinted film.
