How much would I get in an emergency and I needed to sell because these things are just objects not as important as real life needs.
The difference between that and the sales price is my cost to own
So if the cost to own is around like 3k even though your spending 12k then your really just spending 3k and moving 9k into a “savings account” you can wear
They don’t have to discontinue they can just lower volume output. Win win for Rolex keeps the hype up and they don’t hurt feelings by discontinuing an icon
