I've Restored my first watch ⌚🤗🏆
My dad gifted me this watch when I was in 3rd grade, a cool F16-themed one from Dash (Titan). I was in love 😘 with its dial layout. It had a plastic body with a rubber strap (imagine Swatch watches).
Something like this
Over time, the plastic and rubber deteriorated, and the watch was lost within the house and from memory as well 😅.
One fine day in 2020, during COVID, we were cleaning our house, and I found the watch in a miserable condition 😔. I got it repaired, but the original machine was completely rusty, so I replaced it with a Chinese quartz machine. I put it in a new case, but the original sporty look was missing.
I wanted to get it back to it's Glory days 😁.
Therefore, I replaced its body with a sporty dial and changed the strap.
Then, I re-lumed its hands, in the process I have to ditch the second hand because it was not working properly after lume🥺
And fit it in the dial
voilà, it's ready! 😍 💯❤️
