Divers @ $500

Hey Crunchers, looking to find awesome divers at the $500 price point. This will be a gift!

Looking to be a little unique with brands and design. Obviously, Seiko is an easy choice, but I’d love to hear what you guys have to say.

Thanks in advance!

Cheers! 🍻

Bulova Devil Divers are awesome. With 666ft of water resistance this was built to be submerged. A little bit out of budget, but a very solid option at the price point. Lot of heritage with this piece!

I am really happy with my Nodus

Check out offerings from Nodus and Islander Watches. Dryden has a new diver that looks pretty sweet too. If you have a little flexibility with your budget DuFrane is a stellar option for Swiss regulated movements. The owner is amazing!

Zelos. Awesome dials, good build quality, unique. Whoever it is for won’t be disappointed.

·

#zelos has a few Blacktip models still avaliable. I have a few of their watches and they've all been very well built at reasonable prices.

Deep Blue is my vote! Divers 1000 is 300m WR, good movement, got mine with a blue mother of pearl dial on a nice jubilee and was $200. My vacation watch!

Great suggestions so far.

I absolutely love my RLG Odyssea! Super comfy, fits well on my smaller wrist, insane lume! Takes a beating at the beach and at work and hasn’t let me down yet. Also looks great on tons of different straps.

I love the blacktip! Beautiful dial, and that bezel adds a very cool contrast!

Check out Scurfa, I have owned a handful of theirs over the years and they are good dive watches priced appropriately

I'd probably grab a seiko at this price point.

Orient Kamasu is pretty well respected

you could probably also get a Tissot at this price?

or a solar Vaer. i've kind of always wanted a solar watch of some kind.

That DuFrane Travis is a pretty cool watch. Original design and a good one at that.

Here's a few of their other watches. They have a well deserved reputation of high quality, interesting designs.

Another great option is the Seiko King Samurai Dark Manta.

That purple dial is ♥️

I have heard a lot about the Samurai. I’d love to see one of these in person.

Thank you for the photos! Very beautiful collection.

I LOVE the way this looks. The matched bezel works a lot more than I thought it would

In case you fancy quartz rather than automatic I can recommend the Tissot Seastar. Mine's the 36mm version which has a High Accuracy Quartz movement which is good for +/-10s/year.

Also the Citizen BN0150 solar quartz

Ya know what I'm gonna say mate... So I'll just leave it at that. 😁
