Show us your uniquely-designed dive watch!

I really like that my Freestyle Hammerhead doesn’t emulate any other kind of dive watch. It really has its own flavor. Because of that, it has been one of my favorite watches from the start.

Show us your dive watch you may like because it is an homage to nothing.

That is impressive! Indeed a stand-alone design. Judging from the look of the crown, I assume it is also the control mechanism for the U-Lock?

The U-Lock is released by the four Torx Type screws around the bezel. Those get loosened and then swivel out to release both the top and rear of the case at the same time. The crown is a two piece lock, you unscrew the fine knurled ring first to unlock the larger knurled crown. The stem and crown themselves are not part of the lockdown mechanism. This is the only one of this type that I have ever seen.

I see. Its radically-angular case makes it look impregnable…as I’m sure it is. Good for those dives down to the reef I’m sure.

The Oris is, as best I can tell, an original design. It is modern and simplistic in its approach, but I would not say it is an homage to any previous brands/models.

Excellent pick, I wish I had my Oris Prodiver back in the day.

I'd say just about anything that comes out of Vostok, from their old Scuba Dude to current Amfibia's, like this one with it's odd date window

I agree with you on the love for original design. Nothing against homages. There is just a certain feeling that you get knowing that you are outside of the pack. This is what made me get this Aragon

My Spinnaker Boettger, I love how the indices are above the hands, cool funky design imo.

·

I really like how the bezel insert seems to flow into the rehaut (hope I spelled it right 🤣). When a watch owns the fact that it's a thick boy uses it to it's advantage.

Sector SGE 500. 500 meter/1650 feet dive chronograph with an ETA movement. I bought it in 1994 and used it on some dives. It still works well today, other than the lower pusher is stuck locked.

Image

Sector is my favorite brand. One wouldn't know with all of the other watches I wear. This is the first time that I have seen another Sector on Watch Crunch. Awesome!

They are very hard to get, I waited a couple of years before I snagged one, they did an orange one too

Very nice! They are a well made watch and definitely unusual. That's a part of what makes it my favorite brand.
