My Great-grandfather's watch restored.
Today I got my watch rotatary jetflyer automatic watch back after I sent it in to get returned to its former glory.
I am really happy about this becuase it is my 3rd automatic watch and it is my first watch with a swiss movement.
The crystal had to be replaced becuase the incorrect one had been put on. I think becuase of this the insides basked around around and this is why it was not working properly.

The name “Jet Flyer” is a great indicator of the spirit of the times. That bracelet may not be original just judging from the sloppy fit between the lugs. Nice watch and good for you for having it restored.

I think my great grandfather worked on this watch (which he did as a hobby) and changed out the glass and braclet.
I reckon your great grandfather would have loved to have seen restored and you wearing it! lovely watch.

A local watchmaker, I have never gone to one before so I had to find someone who could fix it.
