Furlan Marri Mechanical Permanent Collection

Furlan Marri have announced the three new pieces in their permanent mechanical collection.

Liking the Salmon’s dark coated indices a lot. The Grey is VERY reminiscent of my ‘retired’ Black sector…. 🤔

All have a exhibition back and two straps

The "white" one is quite nice looking.

The little hints of blue work quite well with it imo. I’d happily wear any of the 3…..!

·

Very nice.

Yeah I'm so happy the black slouched it's way out of "retirement", though I might be annoyed if I were you...But seriously all three look lovely and very fair priced.

I’m consoling myself by imagining it’s Michael Jordan coming out of retirement wearing “45” (not quite right) 😂

You are right - for the price, the finishing and implementation of the lugs is very very good

·

I just read their announcement. That white one has my name on it. Such a good combo! I think I would rather see the silver numerals on the salmon. But what a package for that price!

You going to order one when it’s available? 🤞

The salmon’s indices remind me of the Montblanc Heritage Automatic. They were highly polished and anthracite-coloured. Good for legibility.

The only ‘mainstream’ colour missing is blue - I have a feeling that’s reserved for a collaboration (pure speculation on my part)

Grey one looks amazing to me!

Go for it!

Go for it!

If I lived in EU and had a chance to return it without hustle, I would buy it)

·

The salmon one is really cool. I wish the numbers went all the way round instead of the indices. It also reminds me a little in its colorform of this Farer.

Yeah sometimes its just not worth any potential aggro

I dont think there are many 3 hand sector dials with all the hour indices on there. It’d be quite busy

Fair point. You're probably right about that.

I’ve seen sector dial chronos (which would be even busier!)

I am in the doghouse ATM... Have to pay a big tax bill first! But in the future; yes!

Ouch! Hope it all goes ok.

Not limited so no hurry for these

·

Yes. I’m not sure if it’s a translation thing - ephemeral stories is a good one! That’s definitely a question people ask whenever anyone meets them!

You say you were on the list - did you get one?

·

I'm a sucker for the heat-blued hour & minute hands on the White Sector model. They're all stunners!

Yes - white sector and blued hands is a pretty tough combination to beat! They didn’t just swap the dials they made an effort with the hands and indices too. I’d be happy with any of them.

I’m quite interested to know (with the ‘unfinished’ crown) if the exhibition back lifts the roughness of the crown off the wrist. It’s a minor issue but an issue nonetheless

·

I haven't handled them so I never knew the crown felt rough. Hopefully, they will address this moving forward.

I think it was done to help with the winding.

It may be just me that it affects.

Took delivery of the ‘grey sector’ this week. It’s beautiful and wears great.

Looks so good! There’s not much difference in dial colour between the grey sector and black sector.

Also it’s interesting how the chose two ‘reverse’ the curved end strap to brown from the black.

Hope you enjoy the watch - let us know your thoughts after c couple of weeks of wear

·

I have the black sector myself and love it. The exhibition case back would be nice though!!

·

Was wondering how different the gray is from the black!!

Was wondering how different the gray is from the black!!

I cannot personally tell the difference myself (without reading the reference number on the dial)!
