Baltic was an obvious champ, easy to predict, as was Farer a couple years ago. Now that those two (excellent) brands are out, next year's tourney seems wide open.
I love their watches, but I have a couple questions about this new model. First off, I don't love the "italic" tilt of the numbers. It makes a tricky watch even harder to read, though it's probably not a dealbreaker. But here's what the site says:
What does that mean? As far as I can tell, they've replaced the seconds wheel with a moonphase. Which is cool, I like it, but what does "the moon phase is co-axially linked to the seconds wheel" mean? What seconds wheel? Maybe they just mean "the third wheel that used to indicate seconds"?

I saw this yesterday. I quite like it, especially the ivory dial. Dumb question: How do you tell time on this? It looks like the bottom of the dial is meant to be midnight, so 1:00 am would be what is typically 7:00?
