For many (not me) the feedback is it is a derivative cash grab on the integrated watch hype, but more so the fact they are selling a watch with a basic movement for 3x plus comparable spec’d watches. It was quite a polarizing watch when it was first announced.

All I can say is that they are missing out. Bell and Ross makes good watches. They also were way ahead of the current integrated bracelet craze. Now maybe it is because I own the BR-X5, which has a enissi movement rather than the basic BR-05, but the lower BR-05 offerings were of interest to me as the fit. BR-03's do not.

In any case, cash grab? Isn't that what ALL watch manufacurers are after, cash and a profit? Aren't all "homage" watches a cash grab? Isn't making a "duplicate/near duplicate" of an existing watch but with their name on it a cash grab? How about all the Speedy special editions which I conclude they would also say is a cash grab.

Point being that "cash grab" not a legit argument, imho.
