I’ve got a confession to make

I’ve sinned… My dive watch is an expensive fidgets. When i’m wearing it i will spin it unknowningly. During meetings if it gets too boring i will start spinning. When i’m thinking i am spinning. When i am waiting i am spinning 😵‍💫Do you treat your watch like a fidget? Do you spin your diver or gmt like me? Do you start and stop your chrono as and when? Do you keep pressing the digita buttons and let it beep? Or you just OCD and leave it as it as and only use it as a tool it was build to do?

No, my divers bezel make loud clicks so that would be very distracting.

·

It must remain aligned!

I honestly use a dive bezel as often as a chronograph, which is essentially never.

·

Some days I'll do this while on a conference call. Have to make sure noise cancelling is on or the clicking drives the others batty

·

I thought that's what the bezel was for.

·

What is a perrelet?? can i spin and click it?? Show me thy way😱

I know right! But sometimes i just unknowingly reach out to my left wrist and start twisting.. it’s such a bad habit and i hope the presentater forgive me🙏🏻

I tend not to fidget unnecessarily with mechanical things for concern of wearing them out. I'm more of a daydreamer than a fidgeter.

Mine is unaligned 50% of the time. The other 50 is in the box unalign as well😬

Yea sometimes i do wonder does it degrade the mechanism faster🤔 but it’s just a habit for me….

·

Looks like a dressy spinner! Thou shall not go into removing my watch and start spinning during meetings🤣my fellow colleagues will crucify me

·

Uuuuu, i guess this makes me OCD?

·

Short answer: no

Long answer: nooooooooo.

·

Yes. If I'm ever bored later in the day, I'd take my watch off to wind it and polish it against my trouser leg. I also play with the crown (if it's signed) to make sure the logo is always in the right position.

·

You are not alone. I have a fidget spinner in my edc stuff and I have spinning tops as key chain for my cars and house keys. I collect all of them you see. Spinning the bezel not so much but pushing the chrono buttons, occasionally, especially when I need to be discreet.😜

Bezels be made for turnin’! (And sometimes timing)

If i am wearing my khaki field mechanical on the day, i will start winding the crown in replacement of a dive watch bezel😬

I need one of those fidget things as well any recommendation? Seems like spinning the bezel and crown is sin in this community 😂

The key is to have your hands out of sight, and do it as you turn your head or swivel eyes.

It's hard not to stare when i'm playing with it😂

Ya man i'm totally a believer in this.. if not what's the use of a dive bezel, or chronograph in this day and age? Even divers use dive computer nowadays.

Hahaha. Yeah I can understand why some are a little paranoid about spinning the crown or bezel excessively. These things do wear out or break accidentally. Guess they want to preserve their watches as much as possible. Fidget things are available everywhere, ebay AliExpress etc. I mostly pick mine up whenever I see something I ‘feel’ I like. 😜

·

I look at it !!!!!!!!!!

·

Get a Zenith with that 1/10 second gand wizzing around instead just stare at one of those whilst mentally smooching that gorgeous thing lol . Very hypnotic…..

Thats cool ….

Come to think about it, i might just continue spinning my bezel. If i start taking out my fidget during meetings and pressing and twisting. I don’t think i can keep my job🤣

Go for it mate. You do you. 👌

I don’t do this. Maybe on few occasions but nearly never.
