Dang man! That looks like a black dial! Might be the photo not doing it justice. Thanks for the rec!
It's the photo.
Don't need another, and I just preferred the OG black, but this brown is the epitome of tropical dial (brown), daily, tool watch.
These are, IMO, what a Submariner should be, functional, light weight, good on a bracelet or strap, on the smaller end, solar, crazy lume, and at a price point everyone can enjoy. In fact I'd argue the OG Sub had more in common with these than it did haute horology.
Here's mine in the LongIsland Jubilee. Jangly, solid end link goodness.
I'm a strap guy, but this stays in the steel 24/7/365.

This has always been my favorite. The SGBE263. Limited edition though and hard to find.
My mochaccino 😉
Not really a fan of brown dials and not sure what is the budget but sticking to "reasonable" price segment:

This one is quite cool looking IMO.
If you like bronze watches, this is my favorite brown dial

I have this vintage Lanco with a killer dial, although it's not running and needs a hairspring. When I get it going one day I'll have something nice.
Oris Big Crown Pointer Date Bronze! Such a beaut!
