The cap is ceramic. It feels very solid and I have no doubt it will last for decades.

I built this GMT for around 40 bucks in parts. Quarts hands are super hard to find and the gmt hand is a dial date hand.

Thanks! Uncle straps jubilee style. I’ve got the milled buckle on the other side. End links fit really nicely on the SARB017 and the Alpinist GMT as well. Only neg would be on my narrow wrist there’s the “bottle opener” gap on the clasp when closed.
