I totally feel the same about my SBDC165 (SPB297): great dial design, great design language and case. But let down my the inaccuracy of the movement (mine is lately running -25 to 30 seconds/day) and the slightly misaligned bezel. Yet, it dominates wrist time.

Congrats on the second child! I’m a father myself of two lovely, lively daughters. They are my pride and joy, and near fully occupy my free time and take up almost all my left over energy. At this point, counting coffee cups is near a second way to measure the time of day. However a moment to stare at one of my watches is a second nice boost of energy!
Great Orient diver! I like the hand set and metallic bezel on this one. Enjoy it with your kiddos and the brew!

You do you, man. I’m not a bracelet guy, but if you like to pair your watch with a nice bracelet, it should never be any skin off anyone else’s nose IMO. It’s your watch and arm after all. Anyway, the times I wear my watch with a bracelet it’s a handmade gift from my daughters (or an extra hairband to help do up their hair). I’m sure your bracelet has as much meaning to you as mine does to me. Wear in good health, dude!
Thanks! Uncle straps jubilee style. I’ve got the milled buckle on the other side. End links fit really nicely on the SARB017 and the Alpinist GMT as well. Only neg would be on my narrow wrist there’s the “bottle opener” gap on the clasp when closed.
