Seiko Vs Orient

I am in the market for a dive watch both of these in used condition comes around same price range, so what’s the watch family suggest? Which one is a better pick i am leaning a bit towards seiko for dial colour and bit towards orient for aesthetic

So am i , i have 4dive watches but i dont know how to swim so going to wear it while coding on my laptop, so do you still suggest orient?

Orient looks to have fewer QC issues and priced better. If you get a Seiko look it over first for alignment issues.

I would get the Orient. While the Seiko is a great watch, the Kamasu has better specs.

That is right but as someone said in one of the discussions here we dont wear specs we wear for the feel and comfort of it being that said I can’t differentiate between these two on this point either

They couldn't be completely different, I don't even see them as comparable.

Orient. More rugged, better specced (especially if you're a sapphire snob) with less QC issues.

I feel like the Orient is more comfortable. It's a little thinner, more organic shaped so less hard edges, and I think is a more elegant watch. The Seiko is a functional looking watch, but can't function like the skx it replaced. So, the orient is a real dive watch, wears better, and is good looking. IMHO.

I would definitely love an orange dail in my collection

·

The red dialed Kamasu is a STUNNER in my humble opinion ... that'd get my nod! 👍

·

Personally the only thing the Seiko has over the orient is the bezel. Besides that you’re getting much better value with the orient. I think they fit on the wrist better too

A citizen diver would be nice to put into the mixed. Or a seiko monster if you limit yourself to 42mm case.
