First thing I like the formula 1 tag , not massively, but to me it's inoffensive and fun. But this kith b*ll*x ......now that winds me up. There is absolutely no reason to be charging 1500 clams for a plastic quartz watch, none, absolutely no excuses. I hate this rip off world we now seem to be living in where stuff like this gets lauded by sites like Hodinkee who live in a different dimension to normal folk who actually work hard for a living for this kind of money. Id have the Casio on principle
Some rich hipster fashion guru/clothes maker who was gushing about his love for the TAG formula 1 watches, on Hodinkee. He's now collaborated to rip off people by charging £1500 for kith branded reissues plastic or steel you will still get shafted the same.
This sums up all that's wrong in the watch world and general pricing of things in the world we live in today, in general. We truly live in a rip off age- it's frustrating
The whole Patek, Rolex audmars, hodinkee, John mayor, ed Sheeran etc etc thing is so f..king boring now. I know I'm envious and I really like John mayor as a person and ed Sheeran even tho I hate his music, I just find when I click on to a watch collection video and it's the same old vintage Rolex and Patek with a couple of royal oaks thrown in, to me , now, it's a yawn fest. Give me an oyster quartz and some obscure ugly swiss digitals from the 70s with a sprinkling of what Japan was doing every time. Rant over
