First impressions - Vero workhorse

First thing I'd like to say, and it's a negative, is the cost of getting this watch to the UK. The RRP is £346 which I'm perfectly ok with. Postage- £41, I'm ok with that also. But £87 import fees???? I'm really not ok with that and I know it's not Vero's fault at all and not a reflection on them whatsoever, more on the super inflated and taxed country I live in.

Now that rant is out the way, I absolutely adore the design looks and feel of this watch. I think Vero deserve top top marks for the thought put into this totally original take on a field watch. I think the colour choice on the dial, case, buttons, crowns and strap are perfect. It's utilitarian wrapped up in a super fun looking modern design. The chrono buttons have a satisfying click to them and I really like the choice of movement. The minimal text and dial design are perfect in my eyes also. So far so good. For a grab and go/beater/holiday/outdoorsy watch I think this fits the bill perfectly

I should get a Vero. They're main office is about 45 minutes away from me, very local!

Same with me. They do tours, you just have to schedule in advance. I've been meaning to go.

I had a chance to get hands on with their Smokey Bear watch, and it felt really good in the hand. Very quality.

Man, it's thick, but I love the look of these.
