After doing the usual obsessive endless trawling through chrono 24, then to YouTube, back to chrono 24 , then to eBay back to YouTube, then on to the interweb, and on and on ad infinitum, I finally pulled the trigger on one of these Vero workhorses. I think this is a breath of fresh air as far as design goes. I love the looks and design ques and colours. I actually like that it's a pretty cheap quartz movement and I'm very excited to get my grubby little mits on it

I like that it looks like it gets inspiration from an off road automobile more than watches
That's a tool watch. A workhorse as you call it. Handsome.
I giggle when you see people considering versions of an Omega, or a Rolex, or whatever else as they say they need a 'tool watch.' 🤣🤣🤣!
