Are you also doing that ?

I often change my watch several times a day. For example, I take one watch to go to work, I arrive at home at 22h00 and I change with another watch just to sleep. In the morning I change again.

Am I some kind of a freak or is this just normal behaviour for people who owns multiple watches?

I love watches, but can't sleep wearing one.

·

I like to wear watches on both wrists on the weekends sometimes.

·

I’m still in the honeymoon phase with my Citizen Eco-drive Perpetual Calender Alarm - so I tend to take it with me - just to lay it on my desk and use the alarm at work.

So I will sometimes swap it with whatever I’m wearing. Especially if I’m in the car driving- I want to give it time in the sun to keep the charge up.

And my Blancpain x Swatch Scuba Fifty Fathoms Atlantic Ocean has the best lume of my collection - so I make sure the lume is bright before bed and have it on the night stand , because with my cataracts I can’t read the digital alarm clock without my glasses - but an analog dial is easy to read to know what time it is if I wake up in the middle of the night.

Swapping watches when I get home is also something I do regularly. But have never slept with a watch still on my wrist 🤔(not counting naps on the couch after a long working day 😁)

Really? I sleep with my watches since forever. Never bothered me.

I'm on a mission at the moment to wear one watch for as long as possible. It's killing me.

·

I do the same and my girlfriend pokes fun at me about it. But I think it makes total sense to choose a watch for work, then a different watch for the gym, then a different watch if we go out, and a smart watch when I sleep. Wearing the same watch all the time seems bizarre to me...

·

I change watches multiple times a day and sometimes wear 2 but I have never slept with a watch, too uncomfortable.

Hahahah. I tried that too. I moved all my watches to my moms place and only took one with me, so like that I’m obligated to wear just one. So crazy.

·

Sometimes I wear 4-5 watches a day, tho I've been wearing my Seamaster for around 3 weeks continuously - I'm very erratic 😂

Can't sleep without a watch on myself..

Same !!

·

I wear one watch per day. Giving a watch the full day is the least I can do to appreciate it. Full focus for one day isn't a lot (and my I don't take multiple watches with me). I switch up daily though

·

This is normal behavior. I change watches often. And sometimes I sleep with my grail watches. (I can’t sleep with my cheaper watches though 😂)

·

I've yet to find my sleep watch

·

I usually wear at least 4 watches a day. My morning workout and my evening wind down watch are the only constants, the other two change depending on my daily activities.

·

Normal…because I do that, therefore it must be normal for everyone else.

·

Usually 2 per day, one at work and one at home. If doing some housework could be 3 too.

·

It beats using an electric watch winder.

I do that too, but then sometimes I think what if I break the strap when I sleep. That thought scares me sometimes.

Try a $40 Timex weekender with Indiglo on your nightstand

Totally switch to a sleep watch , gotta be legible at 3 am lol

·

I wear one to bed because I like to know the time when I get up to pee. So, if I am wearing something without lime or a light, I change watches when I get home. Also, if I am trying to keep a couple automatics wound, I will switch them up so I don't have to reset them when the power reserve runs out.

So that's why I would not want a perpetual watch. It would stress me out making sure it never stopped. I'd definitely change my behavior for just that watch. I have several watches with great loom and I always charge one of them up before going to bed and wear it.

With a 4 month run time on a full charge, I don’t think there is any risk of it running down.

I use mine for my personal “Greenwich Clock” because it hasn’t lost a second since I got it.

I set my other watches to it, especially at the end of the month since it is ALWAYS on the correct date, when my other watches think that there are 31 days in EVERY month.

That's amazing!!!
