Just got one...... Other than Casio and my Nighthawk, I don't do Quartz either.
However, this watch is exceptional...
The sweeping hand is buttery smooth, the bracelet and strap are outstanding and that dial and case shape.....
Only niggle is the 5ATM water resistance
Bit like the Beatles Mike when they went to the States :).....
CW is a well respected name that has really established since those days 20 years ago.
As a Brit in the UK who actually buys watches plus watch accessories with from our good US friends I wish you every success....
You know, Tissot and Tag have never been my thing. Tissot seemed boring and Tag seemed for people who just buy the Brand....
However, I recently saw a Tissot that was stunning...
The Heritage Telemeter change my view of Tossot.
And now this Tag is so striking... its also stunning.
The lesson here..... we should not be to quick to dismiss Brands.... lest you miss a masterpiece!!!
A nice piece my friend:)
I'm not quite at your watch level here. My collection ranges from £250-£3000.
Average being £900.
At one point I have 50+ and another 30+ casios.
I have sold most and am down to 19 in total.
My strategy is to have classic brands and classic types of watch and some classic designs. In my current price range...
So we are talking...
2x GShocks
Citizen
Seiko
Omega
Accutron 2020
Squale
Divers
Field watches
Dress watch
Sports watch
Swiss
Seiko or Myota
Some microbrands
Alpinist
Nighthawk
I want to got to say 10 which represent the above.
Perhaps in the future I'll drop to 6 say Luxury Watches....
Yes, if you say £1000 is an entry level point for a luxury watch, they are straddle both sides.
If you want a watch with serious credentials and want to hit sub 2K.... its a good choice......
