This is a rematch from last year where they faced each other in the sweet sixteen. Will KT have it’s revenge?

Oh that’s awesome, and check out the crazy amount of votes this year in comparison 🤯

It's nuts, this little thing has taken on a life of it's own. This round we are pretty close to 1500 votes per match.

Remember that.

Will be perusing catalogs thoroughly.

AnOrdain. It's all about the dial.

·

This was a tough match last year and it’s a tough match this year.

AnOrdain. It's all about the dial.

Kurono isn’t exactly a slouch in that dept either!

Toughest one to call so far....

·

Despite technically being the underdog, Anordain made it to the finals last year. This would be an upset of sorts.

I wonder how much the waiting lists are hurting AnOrdain. It's one thing to miss a drop, but it's another to be told you're waiting 5 years to be eligible to buy a watch.

It’s true, especially since they aren’t the only enamel dials in town, but hard to fault them for the demand exceeding production capability.

They're still my choice, but I can see why people would be frustrated.

I'm annoyed with myself for not buying one a few years back when prices and wait times were reasonable!

Honest question, any owners of either able to post up some lume shots?

I mean . . . both brands don't really make tool watches. Both are on the dressier or business casual side of the spectrum, which means lume is marginal or non-existent.

How can I order a Kurono Tokyo and where do I see the price ?

Sign up for the mailing list on their site, so you can get notified . . . 99% of their models are only sold online in very brief sales windows (and often models never repeat). For esp. attractive models watches can sell out in a few minutes.

A company with a waitlist due to overwhelming demand is never hurting. It’s literally a best case senario….and all it takes is setting clear expectations to handle it properly.

I know a lot of people are put off by waitlist but for enthusiasts brands like this, it doesn’t matter. They don’t need to sell a watch to everyone, just the right people.

Most people who are gonna be into this brand are already so deep in the watch game a wait list doesn’t scare them. It’s better to wait 5 years and get the watch you want than to either not get it or pay a big premium on the secondary market.

Gives you lots of time to make a decision . . . and lots of time for the company to roll out some new model that will make your decision even harder.

Yea, thought I'd ask tho.

I don't exclusively wear tool watches, but still like to read time in low light if needed.

But for these kinds of matchups, I'm out of my element, don't know who is "objectively" better and not afraid to admit it. 😂.

This is the toughest choice thus far

Yes it hurts, but the demand far, far outstrips the supply.

I've had to go with AnOrdain on this one. Their enamel dial work is unmatched.

Sad to have to pick:

What a tough match up. Two great micros.

I have a KT and I’m on the list with anOrdain

·

AnOrdain I guess. 😂. This genre is beyond this trenchers perview tbh tho. 😜🤏🏻

·

My vote went to #anordain since I learned about the brand a couple of years ago I’ve been a big fan of their dial designs

·

Anordain because yeah, good stuff. I get hassled for my hellcat price and most of kuronos offerings are like hellcats on straps but 2x the price. 👎🏻

Anordain is bringing the heat with artisanal watchmaking and none of the marketing gimmicks

·

That’s HARD!

Poll closed for this matchup. Congratulations to Kurono Tokyo!
