Hmmm..

Love the Wise dials...

Buuut, Brew did just brew a coffee in space....😉

JK

More thoughts needed at the moment.

·

Brew watches are just so exciting.

·

This one will go to Brew and I understand why. However, going with Wise because there are various models I could go with and I like their approach!

·

Surprised it’s not by more, honestly!

·

I vote for Wise for the variety of materials they work with like 904L steel, bronze, or adamascus steel.

They have a wide range of different models, dress watch, sports, divers and GMT and their quality and finish are great.

In my opinion they are nailing their dial designs and they are original with their textures, colour, indices and hands.

·

I want to vote whith my wallet for Brew, but they dont sell their watches in EU

Brew is just more interesting and they managed to do an important thing - establish their own design. They don’t even need to put a logo on their Metric (coffee bean is barely visible) - you know it is Brew. Remove Wise from dial - it is any other micro or established brand look (there’re similar Seikos, Citizens, etc.)

Don’t wanna say loud words, but at least whithin watch enthusiast community Brew designs can become iconic with time similar to Cartiers, Genta designs in major brands.

I am personally not convinced why Brew does not put a mechanical movement into Metric, but it’s still an easy winner for me

I don't drink coffee and I've been wearing my Wise Adamascus AD773 for three months straight now, so it's obvious where my vote goes.

·

Wise has more variety and isn't afraid to work with different materials. Not to mention the finishing when placed on a macro lens is surprisingly good.

Gotta hand my vote to them as much as I love the Brew.

·

I think the argument of "removing the brand name of the dial" is a tricky one, of course, there are similarities between different watches, and all brands have been drawing inspiration from one another along the time.

For me, the important thing is how the brand adds its own touches to the design and executes them with quality.

I guess if you removed Rolex from the dial, you would get a watch very similar to many others.

If you remove Wise from the AD8 you get a 904L steel skin diver with an original dial texture, ceramic beze, crazy lume, Miyota 9 series movement, and great finishing. I haven't found anything similar in that price range.

I have ordered one of their ADX True GMT. It is a 904L steel GMT diver with a very original, angular case, and its dial layout with a small GMT hand is also very different from other GMT divers.

Here is my Wise Adamascus Bronze Limited Edition

My pick would be Wise. I think they are less of a one trick pony, and I mean that with all due respect to Brew. I just think Wise offers more in terms of models, value, materiality, packaging and overall finishing.

Yeah seriously. That gold celebration dial 😍😍

·

I went with Wise for this one. I really like what the company is doing with bronze and 904 stainless steel along with their dial work.Their quality also seems to be up there.

I like Brew, and I am appreciative that they are not shy about using mechaquartz movements.

·

Wise watches are so much nicer. Way higher quality materials. Most comfortable divers. There's just no way I would pay more then $200 for a quartz watch ever. Brew just seems like a fashion watch brand to me.

·

#brew got my vote, even if a bit reluctantly. I'm not a particular fan of the brand, but they are consistent and unique with their offering. @WatchObserver said it best "Remove Wise from dial - it is any other micro or established brand look (there’re similar Seikos, Citizens, etc.)" Beyond that, their website feels like an online mall, there is no "Our Story" or "About Us", it feels like this is a strictly commercial operation, that just happens to specialize in wristwatches.

·

Brew. And definitely not because I reflexively need to validate my recent purchase lol. In all seriousness , I do think is Wise is very cool and probably higher build quality, but Brew has a bit more “cool factor” imho.

·

Poll closed for this matchup. Congratulations to Brew!

·

The Wise brand hakes me a happy man when looking at them. The result shows again that beauty is in the eye of the beholder 👍 for me. 😢 for the result.

·

Brew for me. They have a clear design approach. Their design is so unique! I can’t think of any other brands with a watch I can compare it too 🤔
