Ehhh tough decision....

Baltic by a hair. Reliability concerns over the lifetime of the movement with the MR01 are a thing, but I am drawn to a "dress"-ier watch with drilled lugs. I know, I know, dress watches aren't for NATO's, but still who says you can't..? 🫣👀🤏🏻😋.

Also the Hermetique is interesting.

I say go ahead and rock that dress watch on a NATO. Want to wear a dive watch on leather? Have at it!

Great minds and all that and I do, I do indeed...up to and including actually swimming in my Zane's Handmade single passes.. 😆.

Hence why I can't get that stupid MR01 out of my head, especially with Hesalite on top.

But the no lume is the main reason sadly. Meanwhile I wait and think what if 😂.

·

Baltic for me. Again I bought one 😅

With their perpetual calendar at Only Watch last year, I’m predicting a big push towards something resembling what Christopher Ward looks like now (Bel Canto, Aventurine moonphase etc)

Unfortunately a tough matchup for Circula. Great microbrand though!! Congrats to Baltic!

·

My vote goes to Circula, even if they will not make it to the next round, I am afraid. They just have great watches! #circula

·

Tough match up. My vote for Circula

·

I'm sad about this one as I own a Circula and have met Cornelius so they get my vote!

Image

But going up against Baltic is not an ideal match. I've not experienced Baltic but I like their designs.

·

I owned a baltic aquascaphe titanium. I liked it, but did not love the wobbly crown.

I don't know much about Circula, but at least they're using some better movements.

·

Amazing that we got to the 2nd round. This one is tough…so hear a couple of pictures to hopefully gain some extra votes. Take a look in the community, the guys that know us appreciate the built quality of Circula, the precision and the customer service.

These may look similar..

.. but only one of them is a true compressor and it's not the Baltic.

Circula are on the rise and deserve more love and attention. Certainly spec and movement wise they out perform Baltic and their designs are top notch!

#circula gets my vote

Thank you Sergio! You also got and will get mine.

·

I own a Baltic, but I find Circula waaaay more interesting and fascinating.

Marc from Long Island sells @circula now, so hoping to get one in the future 🙌

Not sure if I’m late to the poll 😞

Nope! You’re in!

·

@circula Cornelius, I know the votes are not falling your direction yet, but it has to feel good looking at all the comments. Very happy to see the vocal support.

·

If anyone's interested in finding out just why I think Circula are the winner in this contest, you can find a fabulous (😋) review of the Circula SuperSport here...

In it you'll find a link to another marvelous review of a Circular by @Guvnor64

@circula ... when do I get my cheque? 😉

It absolutely is. This community is great and brings a lot of joy. I really enjoy the tournament, also with this tough opponent. Thank you.

·

Circula really is a watch you need to get hands on…the build quality is evident immediately

·

Did not know very much about the brands so did some research (thanks @AllTheWatches for the links) I went with Circula 👍

Haha, very cool. Thanks!

#circula for sure as I own ProTrail and it is one of few watches that ticked all the boxes for me: price, design, technical specs, overall feel. It is also a reminder of my years spent in Germany and a final trip to Pforzheim to buy the watch as a farewell gift for myself.

It was expected that Baltic will win by great margin as name is recognized and watches being on a more affordable side. I don't own one, but they would not be that popular within community for making shitty product. For me - I don't like inconsistency as they seem to collect all possible movements around the world like some pokemon game: ETA, SOPROD, Miyota, Seagull, Hangzhou, Sellita and sorry, I just like Germany more than France...

Anyways, this is a good thing Circula was included in this year's edition - lead to discussion and visibility which is generally the purpose of the tournament.

Circula makes some great watches! Their dive watches look particularly nice. Unfortunately they don't stand much of a chance going up against Baltic, but don't count them out in the future. They're like a German Farer, but have been around a lot longer than most of the brands here.

·

Baltic may well take the prize.

·

Poll closed for this matchup. Congratulations to Baltic!

That’s the way I see it is well. Around 200 votes for us in this round and I guess around 800 in the first is very cool. Additionally around 3000 views for our brand. I think this helps a lot.

All those great comments also just feel really good.

Thanks to all for the support and @AllTheWatches for organizing the tournament. It must be so much work. I hope we‘ll be back next year and the go a round further or two.
