Why am I into this ? I don't know. I guess, to me, mechanical watches, even watches in general, are reminiscent of a time where the whole nature was conceived like a giant mechanism, following René Descartes philosophy. It symbolizes our overweening ambition on nature, wich is incredibly anachronistic but, you know, aren't we all sick ?
As the few readers of my previous review already know, I'm not exactly from the "Panerai" type, physically speaking. So when it comes to G-Shock, for...
I could define myself as a watch enthusiast. Despite being interested in mouvements and complications, i'm also aware of my limited budget. When the prx 35 was announced in quartz, I was instantly in. I had no doubts they planned to release a powermatic 80 version of it but, instead of waiting for it, I decided to get the quartz version with the green dial for two reasons. First, it is almost a 1/1 of the seastar model from 1978, which was already let's say an homage to the Rolex oysterquartz. Historically speaking, it is deeply a quartz watch. Then, it is a fun watch to wear. I like it to be a no brainer. I like the green sunburst dial, it has this "let's go party" spirit, without being ridiculous or out of place in everyday situations.
Oh my... What a splendid lume. It's a beautiful watch no questions. Dare I say the date at 6 would have make the dial slightly better? It's nitpicking I know... I'm probably jealous
Rolex submariner, It has to go... Such a seminal design turned out boring to me. I could manage the three other pieces, until the benefactor dies unfortunately.

Baby G's aren't that bad indeed. There's a square shaped model that has both multiband 6 and tough solar feature, 10 ATM water resistance. Pretty good package actually but... Despite being truly comfortable, it was small. I don't have numbers in mind but it looked pretty much like a f91 on my wrist, with a smaller screen due to the conception of the case. There is a new line: gma s5600. It is the middle ground between baby G's and OG squares at 40mm... Sounds cool, I could have considered this. But I ended up getting a GA b2100 9aer. I just had a massive crush on it so, as I said, fuck the fitting problem! Thanks for the advice though ;)

I tried hard to keep this watch. I love the G Shock but the G Shock doesn't love me. I've always been fascinated by the brand, more specifically by th...
