My new little baby

I've always struggled with watch sizes due to the small size of my wrist.. So I jumped in and bought this 36mm diameter and 42mm lug to lug diver's watch. Compact and with 30atm water resistance. undoubtedly very comfortable for the summer and certainly also to be slipped under the sleeves of a shirt.

Gotta love Glycine -- they make watches which punch well-above their weight when compared to the prices.

Glycine is probably the most underrated watch brand today. I’m a certified horologist and never owned a Glycine, then I read several articles about how Glycine was going to Hell in a handbag because they were purchased by Invicta. Did some research and bought a Combat Sub. Why? Because the Swiss that ran Glycine doubled down and said “This is how the Swiss make watches.” and instead of Invicta dragging them down their QC went up. Great watch!

I've been eye balling that same watch. The size and the black and gilt make it just stunning. Nice choice!

Looks good!

Fits nicely!

Looks great! I’ve had my eye on a Combat Sub for awhile… just waiting for the price to drop into the “no guilt” zone 😂😂😂

If I didn't already have 3 other divers, I'd definitely be in the market for this. Glycine is a great brand. Congrats!

I saw my first Combat Sub at Costco a couple of months ago and was very impressed! I love the size and it looks like it would wear well on my 6.75" wrist.

Great choice! I hope you do a full review!

Which exact model is that?

Glycine Combat Sub 36mm GL039.

Thank you, yours has the markers that I like, where there are small markers between the minutes. Most of the others just have the minute markers.

I understand which you mean. A "defect" that I found is the difficulty of releasing the original metal strap due to the small size of the hole in which to insert the classic spring bar removal tool.
