Need help with adjusting a bracelet

Happy New Year to all! I need help, i bought the Glycine Combat Sub 36mm with a double butterfly deployant bracelet that has no half links or micro adjustments, as you can imagine, especially in winter, it is practically impossible to adjust properly. It remains wide and with one less link it remains too narrow. I could use other leather straps, nato, etc. but it annoys me not to be able to use your bracelet, also because it has "particular" ends links so even finding another steel bracelet is practically impossible to find. I asked Glycine for advice and they said I'll have to keep it a little loose. Do any of you have any tricks or tips?

Let me guess you have the oblong shape wrist? This has caused me so much trouble with fitment over the years. My friends with round wrists always get a perfect fit.

Meanwhile, I think your best bet is to try and find a clasp that will work that has micro adjustments. Start with Glycine but you may have to expand your search further.

My Tag Heuer Aquagraph had this same problem, come to find out the micro adjustment clasp from the Aquaracer series works perfectly. In this case, after a quick and easy swap the problem was solved.

One thing that helped me with butterfly bracelets is to take a link from under the 6 o'clock position and put it on the other side of the bracelet. It's still loose, but the clasp will help keep the watch (mostly) in place.

This is a good idea, experiment with link positions

Already done and it helped 😉 but unfortunately it doesn't solve the gap.. Among other things it is a butterfly deployant bracelet with double button and from what I see it is practically impossible to find a classic or butterfly clasp compatible and with slightly larger dimensions reduced. There is practically no hope of adapting it 🥲

Put up some pictures of the end links (top and side) with measurements. You may be able to just fit the end links to a completely different strap. If that doesn't work and you have an extra link you could go at it with a dremmel.

I thought about it too but I have to be able to find the bracelet with the central link of the right width and it's not easy, it's difficult information to find

I would guess it is 9mm which tends to be the standard mid link width. If you did the same thing but by the clasp, if it wasn't perfect you wouldn't really see it anyway.

In my opinion it measures less than 9 mm, i'll measure this tonight, i haven't succeeded in these 2 days. I have another 18mm Oyster bracelet but it has a wider center link than the Glycine one and is not compatible.

OK I'm guessing the bracelet is around 11-12mm near the clasp?
