Studio Underd0g drops in 90 minutes

I'm considering finally buying one of these. Probably the grey version, but that Desert Sky looks appealing.

Any #studiounderd0g guys out there with recommendations or feedback?

Big fan of my mint chip. Go for it if you're interested they're really fun watches to own!

Thanks! I did have a bit of buyers remorse initially and wished I had gone with the sky blue to accommodate my wardrobe a bit more but it's a funky watch to break out when I want to mix things up

·

these 2 are my fav too, probably would buy the black one

·

Depends on your favourite colour. The grey one is more versatile, but the desert sky is more fun.

Yeah and I need more fun. 💯

I'd pick the Desert Sky if I didn't already have my Timex WW75...😊

Goofy Panda would be my choice

·

I had the same dilemma between the goofy panda and the watermelon. In the end I went with the watermelon. While the panda would be the safe choice and something that is more “me”, I felt the watermelon would add more diversity to my collection. I’m sure I’ll have many other black and white dials with other watches.

What do you like about the brand that you’re considering now? Or is it just the style of the watch you like?

I love the visuals of that Seagull movement plus I like the big chrono register. Like the dial texture and the size of the watch you

I picked up the Desert Sky in a drop from 2022 , but had a really tough time choosing between the variants. I find that it's one of those watches that I very rarely reach for, yet I still appreciate having it available in my collection. I think that if I had opted for the more versatile Go0fy Panda I might have ended up wearing it more, but my main reason for wanting it in the first place was a desire for something different. If I were choosing again, I'd probably opt for the Go0fy Panda.

The build quality is pretty impressive for the price, but keep in mind that with the Seagull movement, any future issues would most likely be addressed with a movement swap rather than repair.

Yeah, that’s a very good point about balancing whether you want something really fun and then knowing myself settling for the more prosaic option. And then ending up, not wearing it at all.

They are so cool - I just bought S2 (pink lemonade) - every single model is so cool but felt this one was the most unique and different to what I already have

You have a lovely and I noticed quite colorful collection. Love all the shades of blue. Seeing those watches I’d have guessed you might have liked one of these.

·

I went for the mint choc in the end! Should be in the first drop, as I checked out at 2 mins past the pre-order start time 🙏👌

That's exactly what's stopping me from plunking down $600 on this watch. I can get much cheaper bicompax chronos with the same movement elsewhere.

There certainly are watches with ST19 movements available for less, however I think that most people go for the Studio Underd0g for the quirky and somewhat unusual design ethos. There are other ST19 based watches with great designs , but none that I've seen with their unique vibe. I really like the look of the ST19 offerings from Haim, but they are similarly priced ($525 USD).

Also, as I understand it, one of the problems with the ST19 movements is consistency, and Studio Underd0g supposedly ensures that all watches are fully tested before being shipped.
