My First Rolex
I got my very first Rolex as a Christmas Present to myself. It's a 2003 Polar dial 16570 Explorer II. Very nice watch. It's a lot lighter than modern watches as the bracelet links were hollow I think.

Correct hollow center links. But that vintage has solid end links and drilled lugs too, so it's a bit of Best of Both Worlds. Absolute killer specs on the early 2000's 16570's, congrats!
Yeah the have lost their way not offering more 39-40 mm sport watches with reasonable lug-to-lug and nicely contoured lugs. IMHO. great pickup!!
This is the best Rolex for those that want to enjoy a Rolex without shouting ROLEX. Classy and sporty. The perfect everyday watch, with a GMT to boot.

One of my favourite ref's of one of my favourite Rollers too - there's always something special about a white dialled Rolex sports watch I reckon.
I'm a big fan of watches from the late 90's and early 00's - best of both worlds.
Hey - have you seen the Steel-Reef after market bracelet extensions? They're s'posed to be good and give your bracelet a tooless on the fly adjustment if you're interested.
