Aqua Terra bracelet/strap

Seriously considering an aqua terra. Prefer green dial but as they don't do in 38mm I might go for blue or black. My main issue is the practicality of the bracelet given polish and even though it seems quality, it's putting me off. Do people wear everyday or have they changed to a rubber strap for everyday use ?

I wear mine on rubber but have never tried the bracelet. Would totally give that a shot at some point. Not against it at all. But the rubber is great. Very content with what I have.

As far as I know in 2022 they added the green dial in AT range. And it is possible to find matching curved bracelets as well easily, for example from strapcode etc. Since this is a pretty popular watch, it is much easier than finding one for 21mm lug width longines spirit :)

I have an aqua terra world timer on bracelet. But I have to admit the quality of the bracelet is not that great. But that watch looks great on a bracelet rather than on a strap.

I love this watch, but the bracelet is a turn down.
On top of the issues already mentioned, the bracelet lacks micro adjustment.

I have the 41mm Aqua Terra on the original rubber strap - the one they use for marketing shots. It's great - not going to swap it

I have done this with a few of my watches, I bought the metal bracelet - factory; then ordered a rubber - factory or third party, and in some cases a nato strap if it was a smaller watch. Bracelet looks classy (keep it on for wintertime under the sleeve to avoid scratches), Rubber is most comfortable (any weather) and nato is cheap and perfect for long summer days.

The only complaint I ever heard about the Aqua Terra is the bracelet.  The Omega rubber strap is shockingly the most comfortable strap ever.  If your buying new go for the strap and don't waste money on the bracelet.

Thanks - yes, I've seen this green dial but struggling to find stock locally.

Longines Spirit - love the 37mm.  Really tempted by that too...but will probably only be able to purchase one watch circa 6k over the next few months.

Depends on where do you live, but for example I've seen a few directly available on Schaap en Citroen in Netherlands :) I would suggest to check local dealers from Omega website and call them 1-by-1

The bracelet looks fine, but I just couldn't manage to size it properly for my wrist. There are only half-links and no micro adjustments, so consider that. Put it on a couple of leather straps, the dial and hands started to stand out even more than before, never put the bracelet back 😀

Looks stunning on those straps.  I'd definitely buy a couple of options but have to say I do like bracelets generally so the fact it's not great is something for me to think about.

the 38mm on the rubber strap is a beauty and i like the white dial variant. The green is nice too but was too large for my wrist.

I am also considering one, and, like you, the bracelet is a source of contention for me. I don't like butterfly clasps in general and I just know those shiny center links will look like it's been through a garbage disposal in a matter of days. I seem to be really good at that. Natural talent I guess. It still seems like a watch at that price point should come with a bracelet. I wonder if there are any after market ones that would fit properly and preferably be all brushed?
