Q: How did you get into watch collecting?
I used to think watches were cool back in the day, and I was very fascinated by this Stuhrling skeleton watch I owned. But a few years ago I decided that I thought these were neat little ways to express yourself, I bought one of the old $90 Seiko 5 SNK fliegers, and I was hooked.
Q: What was the first watch you ever owned?
I was given a Timex (I’m thinking it was an expedition) with Indiglo for a present as a kid. Man, that thing was cool.
Q: Do you have a watch with a particularly interesting story behind it?
Not anything super amazing, but a few years ago my dad gave me his little Seiko quartz watch that I still remember he wore every day to work when I was a kid. I practically never wear it, but I love having it in my collection as a cool connection with him.
