The perfect daily watch?

After exactly one month of waiting, it finally got shipped and arrived today. I wanted an Oris with the in-House caliber 400 for quite some time now. the ProPilot X really wasn’t my beer, and the Aquis didn‘t feel right on the wrist either. When they announced this Divers Sixty-Five featuring the in-House caliber 400 at the Geneva watch days, I knew I wanted to have it. And I ordered it online from a larger German AD with a nice discount.

The watch is exactly how I imagined it and I’m very happy to keep and wear it. Is has a vintage vibe to it, but it doesn’t exaggerate it. The caliber 400 is awesome with its 5 days of power reserve and a date at six, which I absolutely adore. It has a see-through case back as well, domed sapphire crystal on the front and a clean, legible dial.

I might post a review in a few weeks.

Congrats! That's a great looking watch.

A one-watch collection isn't for me, but if it were this would be on the list of possibilities.

·

Congrats!! It’s a lovely watch. Love Oris and what it’s doing

·

Dayum. Handsome watch!

·

Congratulations! Love this watch.

Thanks y‘all! I’m totally in love and indeed - if I was looking for a 1WC, this would be on the shortlist for sure. I think it has Submariner 16610 vibes to it, but at a much more attainable price. I seriously prefer this over any Submariner all in all.

Oris makes a great product, enjoy to the fullest!

Looks great! The 12-hour bezel makes it for me! I love 12-hour bezels, an additional function (not sure we would call this a complication) for no additional cost! It really does make it that GADA One-Watch contender!

Wear it in good health!

Very nice! Love the bezel, although I prefer a world timer.

Nice to see, I’ll look forward to your review. I like my Aquis, but it’s heavy. It will be interesting to see how this wears for you.

Great watch, congratulations!

nice watch, is this oris hodinkee collab? one question, how did you use this bezel? is this can track 2 different timezone?

Thanks! No, this is the newly released non-limited one with the caliber 400 inside.

The bezel can be used to track a second timezone, that’s correct ✅

Superb watch - saw this at the Oris boutique a few weeks ago, really excellent. Not sure I can think of another independent brand producing such great watches at the moment and I really like their approach of gradual improvement and development of a few key lines.

Enjoy the watch!

Beautiful watch

I love the approach of this watch. “It’s so boring.” Yup, yes it is. The classics are are mostly stoic designs and this watch gives me the feeling of one that sticks around for a long time. I always find something I would change with Oris’ models but I think they knocked this one out of the park. My favorite watch is my BB58 blue.   So when I say boring, I say it with love.

Yeah, that’s it! It looks super simple, clean, „boring“, … but that makes it for me. I want a legible watch, not a watch face plastered in annoying, yet useless design elements 👍

Love that piece. Congratulations. I can’t wait to be able to see one.
