I’ve always loved the 70’s Heuer chronographs and what they represented in motorsports. As a racing fan of F1, Le Mans, Rally, NASCAR and other formats, Heuer Chronos always spoke to me.
This watch checked a lot of boxes. I love the odd square shaped sub dials, quirky movement/dial layout, skin diver case and deep motorsport connection/history❤️. BUT the best part about this watch is it’s my birth year watch! made in 1978! They only produced these models in 78 and 79, then Heuer stopped production due to the quartz crisis.
Love everything thing about it. It will stay in the collection forever.

Big congratulations - in great condition too given 45 years or so!
I was chuffed when I got mine … obviously older, different focus, but same thrills!

Thank you. And beautiful vintage GS! In great condition too!
It’s definitely got some of that 70s funk. I love it!
Great watch. enjoy
Beautiful. I have the Monaco Calibre 11but never seen one of these in the flesh. That's a sexy watch!
Love it.
As someone born in the 1970s and a fan of Heuer dials (not so much TAG), your watch is great!

Exactly! Love the funk. Very different from modern watches

Wow your Monaco Calibre11 is an icon! I was looking at those and Autavia’s. I ultimately decided on this Incabloc, mainly because of condition and birth year. And I like the odd look.
This is the coolest Heur I've never seen! You were born in the right year, it seems! Congratulations 🎉
That is a stunning Heuer👌 where has it been hiding? Seems like a flawless NOS.
Congrats! Man that thing just breathes 1978…such a great looking watch, and it appears to be in great condition. Enjoy!
Wow! Gorgeous

It’s a charming funk, though! The 70s is the last decade of what, in my opinion, was the golden age of watch design.
Yes the racing watch!! I have 2 that get worked on Sundays, sometimes Saturday. Nascar and most North American racing get the Islander Bethpage Ameriquartz and the European racing, and Downhill Mountain Bking get the Forzo Glickenhaus. Sold the Stanton Gulf
What a wonderful find. Congratulations man wear it with pride.
Nice! My birth year too. Now I want one.

Birthday buds! You should do it!
I really don't care for Tag Heuer, but this is gorgeous.
This is stunning, congrats
Beautiful watch 😍
I really don't care for Tag Heuer, but this is gorgeous.
Thank you. Just to mention, this watch is pre “Tag” before Tag purchased Heuer in the 1985. Not sure it matters 😬
Amazing, looks in great nick too 👍
May i ask where you found in such a good condition ? Great watch wear it with health💪🥰

Yes, I found it on Chrono24. Of all the available pieces this was the best condition for the price
I used to think the Nikki lauda monza heuer was my favourite from the 70s but I think this selection trumps that
Gorgeous
