Agreed that American is a grail of mine. FPJ resonance is another. I’d pretty much consider any Laurent Farrier a grail of mine as well.

I've wanted an Octo Finissimo since they first came out and I will likely get one eventually... but this limited edition, gold, $45K, chocolate deliciousness haunts my dreams. Even if I could afford it, I don't know where I'd wear it

I readily admit that I have never exactly dreamt of owning one ultimate timepiece, I also believe that lack of determination has kept me entertained with the hobby for almost 50 years. I wanted to gift a Mademoiselle J12 La Pausa watch by Chanel to my wife during our last anniversary but was laughed out of the Toronto boutique but since she doesn’t love watches, my quest ended quickly.

Dream: Daytona - I just don't see when I'm going to spend that much on a Rolex when there are better watches. But still, I'm probably going to succumb.

Grail: I don't have one at the moment. Possibly VC222 but I can't see myself ever spending that much on a trinket. I can't see me spending that much on a painting and that's 10x more likely.

Holy Grail: The ALS Richard Lange Tourbillon Pour La Merite (Needs a huge lottery win)

Im not into the hobby long enough to know for sure. I recently realised that gerald genta designs do nothing for me, the hype got to me for a little while, but I like em more on pictures than the image of me actually wearing them in my imagination, if you know what I mean. A dream for me would be something from sinn, Im really attracted by their watches for some reason, and the grail probably something from Rolex...I tend to look for an uncomfortably long time at images of the 36mm explorer😟

Dream :- I’ve sold an aqua tera and a seamaster over the last 12 months and due to me coming to an end of my working life I’m saving up to mark my retirement with either one of these or having just had a grand seiko a spring drive. Can’t pick a winner from these three yet but looking forward to making the choise

Dream watch would be something along the lines of Zenith Chrono or VC stainless. Could save up for in 2-4 years of disciplined saving.

Grail would be Platinum Day-Date. Doable but with years of saving.

Holy Grail is VC For verse as 18k gold. Unless I wake up rich, not happening.
