I just entered the 10k plus category with my #submariner and a white gold #datejust purchase. However under 10 k there are plenty of beautiful watches. Mostly from #omega ans #grandeiko
Besides its usefulness for advertising demographics, what is the ultimate purpose of the question? I am not being sarcastic, just truly curious as to its relevance. I personally have no interest in knowing how much a watch costs unless I am trying to add it to my collection.
When I see a cool/awesome watch, if the price is attainable then I pursue it. If not, then I move on and forget about it (well maybe I'll keep an image of it on my desktop to occasionally torture myself knowing I'll never own it).
My guess is that there are a number of collectors here (like myself) who have spent more than Category D on a few watchboxes full of watches from Categories A, B, and C. We also probably didn't realize we were doing that until we added them all up (or more likely our wife/husband did so).
Even if the question reverted to "What is your annual watch budget?", I would pose the same question as to the value of asking the question outside of advertising demographics.

You might follow up on purchase methods: Cruise ship pricing? AD pricing? Closeout new? Used?
