Ball Watch Owners!

So, I have been looking at Ball watches and I am wondering if there are any Ball watch owners here and what model do they have and what they like and not like about them.

Thanks for the help/advice in advance!

I personally think they are a terrific value..Im sure they have changed ownership a few times over the years but that doesnt bother me.

The ones with rainbow tritium numerals are so cool. Definitely on the short list!

Mine is the Engineer II Genesis. I put it on this strap when I first got it and I rarely use the bracelet.

I have the Engineer Marvelight M which has their in house movement. I love the watch. My only complaint would be more of unrealistic expectations on the lume. I thought it would be brighter but it isn’t.

Yeah looks like I got lucky this morning; whole site appears to be down right now.

My Ball Engineer M Marvelight. I love this watch and it won't be the last Ball I purchase.

If you buy a used one, can the tritium tubes be replaced for a reasonable cost?

This is the Engineer III Marvelight Caring edition. The bracelet is quite sporty if not ostentatious, and has a butterfly clasp. It comes with half links, so easy enough to get a fit.

It’s a bit of a thick boy, but wears quite well with the Oyster case.

Fit and finish is outstanding. Although the Tritium is markedly less bright than a Seiko diver, it is readable in literally any lighting condition at a glance w/o any charging.

I used to have a fireman nightbreaker but sold it to fund my formex. I will get an engineer in the next year or two.

I’ve always found them to be very nice watches. I’d look at the OP look alike the Engineer II. COSC certified at $2000 retail, that’s awesome. Comparable TAG’s at more than twice the price and not chronometers.

·

I love my Ball Trainmaster Moonphase. It’s a quality piece.
