Grand Seiko Quartz GMT

I'm bad at memorizing model numbers, bought this in 2019, wore it to Hong Kong that year. Don't plan on flipping it, I've done the battery change which is easy and the movement is beautiful even though quartz.

I think I'll get this or the blue variant when I turn 40 in a couple of years. Would love it if they did the same style (24h bezel, lume, quartz) in a green dial.

I like the ones they came out with after these, they have the ceramic bezel and bigger lume, but I'm content keeping this as I have memories with it.

A smaller version of this watch would be almost irresistible.

It is relative, but this watch is fairly small and thin already

Oh I’m sure it doesn’t need to be thinner, but what is it a 40mm? 41? I generally prefer smaller watches, so my first response when looking at most contemporary pieces (particularly ones that I really really like) is “I wish it there was a 38mm variant”

It's closer to a 38~39mm with a 19mm bracelet.

Looks like we have the same piece, SBGN003. Love mine as well, it’s always ready to go!
