Yep I have found I really need arabic numerals on my watches (and as a result I am mainly into field or pilot watches, and not keen at all on divers). I can live with only some of the numbers being there (e.g. Alpinist, Explorer) but I don't really like watches without any numerals.
The Seiko 5 GMT divers series (SSK001, 003, 005) are well-regarded and fit the stipulations you mentioned: Seiko 5 Sports broadens its horizons with a new GMT series. (seikowatches.com)

It's a great suggestion. I would add that the 6r35 can change with time so you may have to reassess it every few months. For the first nine months I had my SPB210, it was a steady +7s/d if I stored it crown up. Then after a couple of bouts of being magnetized (and demagnetizing it), I found that it was now at - 12s/d. But I've been storing it crown down and it's only about - 5s/d now.
