Buddy, Can You Spare a Photo or Model number?

There are lots of sub-$200 watches I really like. And there are some expensive watches I like. A thing I don't like about expensive watches is . . . they're expensive. So I have more than 30 sub-$200 watches that I really like. But you might have some too that I haven't seen. I would like to see them and/or their model numbers, and I can also pretend that I'm performing an official WPS (Wristwatch Public Service) by exposing these watches to others when I really just care about seeing or finding out about them myself.

The only criterion is the specific cheap watch is less than $200. Note the words "specific watch" - not brands, not a certain series, just single watches. And cheap. In fact, the cheaper the better.

Thank you for showing. Never heard of that brand. It looks like it costs hundreds. It also looks like nothing else. And a rally strap always looks good.

Never had a Bambino, never really wanted one, and in the last two days on WatchCrunch I see two beauties. Somebody showed a Chrono I had never seen, and now this one. That strap (looks like ostrich on my screen) really goes with it too.

I've never bought a watch for even 100 of your USD, so just look at my gallery. Everything I have on there is under $200 for a new one.

This Pagani Design PD-1662 was only $60.

Oh man Simon B I have seen this watch. And I haven't gotten it for the dumbest reason, and I can't get over it. Among all the things I really like about Aragon watches, one of my favorites is the ARAGON name with the big slanted letters. I know it's a skeleton watch, but they could have printed it backwards on the inside of the crystal so it would show forward. Thanks for putting it up there, and I'll have to make up my mind soon because they won't last.

I can't figure Aragon out. They sure are the best watches I know of for the $$$. It just must come down to the size and the styling. They don't try to please everybody, but they are the champs of big bold and sometimes very original design. Oh well, if a guy likes that, it's great. If not, there's all those others on the list.

Thank you for showing your Aragon. Check out that green dial. Before they made this watch, I don't think that shade of green existed in the whole visible spectrum of light. They had to develop it themselves. Aragons are simply incredible. We could put up a "Show Us Your Sub - $100 Watches" post and some Aragons would be in that one too.

Thank you, I was thinking you would respond on this post. That's the genuine item isn't it - not some expensive imitation. If there was a "Show Us Your $10 or Less Watch" post, you might have some winners there too.

Thank you for showing this watch. I'm glad you got quality and didn't pay a lot for it. To me, every sterile Flieger is just as boring as every other sterile Flieger. No wonder Germany lost the War.

How about this. Talk about legible, you can read that dial a mile away. Great looking bracelet, and onion crown too. I would prefer the San Martin logo on it, although I'm guessing you can buy it that way also. I really like cheap watches, and especially when you get this level of quality.

Yes you can get it with the logo. You could say it's a Sin not to. 😉

Hahaha, that's great! In the spirit of Christmas, maybe we can show some forgiveness and assume that they meant no Sinn, but were merely paying Homage?

Thanks so much. Who says you can't get a great watch for less than $200? Here are five examples. I will have to scope out the blok brand, have never heard of that one.

I recently got the new(-er) Seiko SUR517P1. Black modern "industrial" design on the dial, beautiful metalwork, sapphire, all for $160.

Blok is interesting. Actually, intended to teach kids to tell time and time management (How long is 15 minutes? w/bezel). But has Swiss quartz movement, screw down (destro) crown, 100m water resistance, sapphire crystal. Silly impulse purchase on my part, but a pretty cool addition to a collection.

I really like it too! I would not have guessed that was its intended purpose. It just looks like a distinctive design, even a little weird, but not too weird if you know what I mean.

I'm thinking all impulse purchases are silly, and that's a good thing.

I got this one for Christmas. I think I paid $175…it sparkles when the light hits it just right. I think I’ll wear it for NYE tonight.

Thank you, I have had my eye on this one. What's not to like (well, maybe the crazy logo).

I like your Seestern in the photo too - I'm guessing that's a sister brand? Again, thanks.

I love that Seestern 62MAS. 38mm, 20mm lugs (drilled!), domed sapphire crystal, lumed date window. Vintage look and dimensions. Saw the V3 on AlieX for $129 last night.

My wife is using it now and added it to her collection.
