No Citizen Love?

New to the community and got the heads up from Max's youtube channel. Looking forward to meeting everyone!
Curious, I noticed that Citizen was not available as a favorite brand while setting up the account and looks like there's no community traffic on this brand. Is there a reason for this? I see Casio is available as a favorite so I doubt it's because of watch snobbery. :)
I'm a proud owner of the 3861 Omega Speedmaster Sapphire but my go-to weekend beater watches are from my collection of Citizen Eco-drive watches.
Edit: Here's a potato pic of the current favorite Citizen in my collection - Citizen Promaster Marine BJ7111-86L, solar titanium GMT 200M diver.

Thanks Max! Loved that video. It got me really pumped up to pull the trigger on the new Speedmaster.
I knew it felt like one was missing. Not a Citizen wearer myself but definitely appreciate their wide range of watches and have always enjoyed their style.
Citizen has one of the best vintage watch offerings in my opinion. I have owned several Citizen "Bullhead" Challengetimer, a column wheel, vertical clutch flyback chronograph under 1k, and often times closer to 500 USD, which is unbeatable!

wow! love that square cased diver... it's got that modern citizen design language. Is citizen making anything like this these days? do you have a serial number for that watch?

It's a Citizen Signature Grand Touring Sport. The build quality is excellent! They no longer make this model. There were two versions. You can find several of the blue dials on eBay. Here's an article from 2014: https://www.ablogtowatch.com/citizen-signature-grand-touring-sport-watch-hands/

As a self proclaimed Seiko fanboy, Citizen has been offering up some unbeatable pieces as of late. Just ordered my first citizen, NB1050. Was originally in the market for a SARB or SARX type watch, but this is much better in my eyes. I have a feeling this won't be my only Citizen...

My first post on this platform was about a simple, classic, quartz, dress piece my Dad gave me as an heirloom. It's well-worn and has served my Dad for many years. It's one of my treasured pieces in my very small collection.
I don't know the model number, but the numbers on the case back says 1030-R11008. I'm contemplating on getting the Chandler BM8180-03E very soon.

Yes, agree. Its value is, and will always be, priceless. I always place it in either of the middle slots of my simple 6-watch case. Indeed, its classic design will never be out of style. 😎

I wonder how watch companies are going to adapt if/when the US switches over to permanent Daylight Saving Time (and then realize how utterly stupid that idea is and switches back). ;D
