Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Ultra Thin Moon
I love many things about this watch; among the top reasons:
•It’s not overly girly. No MoP or diamonds or pink or whatever else manufacturers think we want. (Although, sometimes I do want those things. Execution matters.)
•It has a celestial complication. I love being connected to the greater passage of time through one of our first means of marking time.
•The double folding buckle is probably my favorite among all buckles for fit and comfort.
•It is one of my favorite “under the radar” watches. In my perception, this model something that does not enter the consciousness of the general public. It’s not flashy. It doesn’t stand out. Unless you know exactly what you’re looking at…it’s just a watch.
•It’s a JLC. The watchmaker of watchmakers.

I like it sometimes! When it’s the right watch for it. There are just so many that…just no. Maybe I’ll spend more time reflecting on why I shy away from many of these styles the next time we go on a watch trip. (Many brands are not available in our home market.) I’d like to better articulate the circumstances in which I do and do not like these materials and designs.

🙌 thanks. There are a few of them; the girl with the butterfly is quite pretty. The one under the watch dial is the deathly hallows, but I didn’t think how much it would look like a pointy hat on all my watches 😆😂.

👋🏼 and welcome! That’s one classy piece you have there. Absolutely right about execution. I was never quite a fan of strictly ladies watches as it’s often pink and bling with quartz. And yet I don’t need it to be thick and big like how <notoriously thick brand> does.

I love me a JLC Ultra Thin. I almost pulled the trigger on a SS Ultra Thin QP but I wanted a gold watch more and got my GO Senator Chronometer. Perhaps later this year I’ll get a QP. I should’ve bought it last year knowing that we had a leap year coming up and the best part of that is next month with the 29th day in February. As you can tell, I don’t think that far ahead when making my purchases! I just buy what I love when it’s in front of me! 😂😅💸💸
