LOL, I know what you mean. We usually have this thing where we allow each other to have a boys/girls night-out where wives go out together without their husbands and vice versa. It's more enjoyable that way when we can discuss matters we would rather not in the presence of our spouses. 🤣

Just be you, women love that although they do all this weird stuff lol. Be reasonable and buy new watches as you please. Also if possible ask her to join in with your watch journey, educate her and entice her ha ha. 

I did that when I bought her a Seiko 5 which she loves so much. She bought herself a couple of Casios. Not anywhere close to the prices of my pieces. So you see I think she doesn't understand why I need to buy all those higher priced pieces when they all basically just do the same thing... to tell the time! 😂

Tell her you want to start collecting guitars. And amps. And pedals. Start leaving copies of guitar catalogs everywhere. In the long run, watches may seem a saner choice.

Ah, too bad. The prospect of each guitar (brand dependant, ofc) could be the equivalent of a luxury watch and won't store as easily. Watches would start to make way more sense.
