I feel like you relate to a lot of people here and I’m one of them. There was also a point in time where I briefly considered selling my grail too. Looking back in hindsight I know I would’ve regretted it for sure. My personal suggestion is that if you always shy away from wearing them you may eventually fall out of love with them. I truly believe that although you’re going to have certain pieces you save for special occasions etc, I think you should wear and enjoy all your pieces at least on a somewhat regular rotation because at the end of the day, they were made to be worn. After I changed my mindset on that I really began to enjoy my pieces including my grail a whole lot more and can’t even believe I ever thought about selling it. If I were you, and you know you’re always going to love watches and will always want to wear them in life. I strongly urge you to hold on to it and see how you feel. At least give yourself a year or two and you may thank yourself for that decision for many years to come. Just my two cents. Good luck!
This is such an awesome collection! I think it’s safe to say you’re an official Tudor fan! If I had to pick one brand I love the most it would be Tudor as well. Don’t mind what anyone else tells you how or what your collection should look like! As long as you love it that’s all that matters! I’m personally going to get myself the BB58 Gilt Dial once I hit the next milestone in my career that I set for myself and I’m “hoping” that will be my exit piece 😝
Chronographs are definitely useful and I love the aesthetic of it! Definitely agree with not needing a dedicated dress watch as almost all the watches in my collection I feel go really nicely with formal attire anyways! 💯
